Pastor Jeff Parish
Since 2007, I have had the distinct privilege of being the Senior Pastor at First Baptist Church of Indian Rocks. My ultimate passion is presenting the message of salvation to the lost, by grace through faith, in a clear and understandable way. It's also extremely important to me that believers grow solidly in their faith through discipleship.
I have been married to my wife, Martha, for 25 years. Martha enjoys serving in our Women's Ministry at Indian Rocks. She leads women's Bible studies, mentors women, and finds creative ways to present God's truth in a relevant and meaningful way. Her greatest joy, however, is being the mother to our four children; Sarah Grace Robbins (married to Nathan Robbins), Dorothy, Christopher, and Carey.
I was licencsed and ordained in 1989 at Bellevue Baptist Church under Dr. Adrian Rodgers, received my seminary degree from Mid-America Theological Seminary, and my Doctorate from Luther Rice Seminary. I began my ministry as a youth pastor and served at Bellevue Baptist in Cordova, Tennessee; Calvary Baptist in Savannah, Georgia; Idlewild Baptist Church in Tampa, Florida; and was the founding pastor of Davis Island Community Church in Tampa.
