Pastor Jason Baird
My wife, Tiffany, and I are the father of 2 boys; Dalton age 12 and Colton age 6. Originally from Austin, TX, I moved to Nashville where I graduated from Belmont University with a Bachelor's degree in Commercial Music Business. After graduating, I spent a year in California as a youth pastor where God called me specifically to full time music ministry. The following year I returned to Nashville, taking on the role of student worship pastor at Thompson Station Church for almost 3 years. I then co-founded the trio "Austins Bridge", where I was the baritone singer and played piano, acoustic and bass guitar. During the 6 years that Austins Bridge was together as a group, we received 8 Dove Award Nominations, with one win, and also a Grammy Award nomination in 2010.
Towards the end of 2009 Tiffany and I felt God was calling us back into worship ministry. After over a year of dedicated prayer I decided to step away from touring and trust God with that call. Since that time I've spent the past 5 years serving in an Associate Worship Pastor role at Thompson Station Church in Thompson's Station, Tennessee. As of August, 2016, my family and I made the transition from Nashville to be the Worship Pastor here at Indian Rocks.
Leading worship has always been the most rewarding experience for me. My heart has grown to desire to see generations worship together. I am really looking forward to seeing God work as my family and I follow Him through another new journey.
