In the original language, the word,Diakoneo(Greek) or Deacon, means Servant

Our Deacon ministry seeks to follow the biblical example established by the early disciples as Spirit-filled men were chosen and set aside to be the servant partners with the pastors.
Deacons assist the pastors and staff in all areas of ministry, service, support, and leadership to the family of God, with particular emphasis on ministry to the widows and widowers of our church.

Deacon Nomination Form

Our church by-laws provide for the selection and election of as many deacons as the church may need.Nominations come from within the deacon body, from Connection Group teachers, from our pastors or from any member of the church congregation. A nomination form is also available from our church office at any time during the year.
