If you are new to First Baptist Church of Indian Rocks there are three steps to help you get "connected". This web page is designed with the purpose of providing answers to your questions about what happens when, where and how you can find a starting point on your path from guest to Main Street as member of the Indian Rocks family.

Starting Point
Starting Point is the new name for the
former class known as “101”. We have
changed the name in order to make the
name and process more “user friendly”
for our new friends.
Starting Point is
an avenue we use to help you find your
place in the journey. It is here you
have the opportunity to learn more about
Indian Rocks than you could in a year of
attending the services. Our pastors will
share with you what we believe, where
we are headed and, if you choose, how
you can team up with us by becoming a
member of the Indian Rocks family. This
is also the class we ask you to attend
before you follow Christ in believer’s
baptism.
The location is the Family Life
Center Multi-Purpose Room. To sign-up,
all that you have to do is simply call Cindy
in the Church Office at (727) 593-8714
and let her know your plans to attend.
There is no fee for the Starting Point
class and it includes an incredible free
hot breakfast. We look forward to seeing
you at the next Starting Point in August.
Main Street
Go to any city USA and you will find a
“Main Street” that runs through the heart
of the city. From “Main Street” you could
get to any place in the city. From the time
you were a kid you could not wait to
walk
down Disney’s “Main Street” because it
led to Walt Disney’s Magic Kingdom. We
are offering something brand new starting
August 17 called “Main Street”. It is
at Main Street that we begin “doing life
together”. George Barna says Americans
are among the “loneliest people” in the
world. In this day of extreme schedules
we are failing to get connected.
This three-week fellowship is set up to help new folks get into the main stream of church life. It is also for our church attendees that have yet to find their place in the church but are looking to get plugged in. At Main Street, we will discover why God designed us to be connected to others, learn what our gifts are and find a Connection Group that fits you. Sometimes it can be overwhelming trying to find your niche in a church. When you leave Main Street you will be all set to get your journey started.
Main Street is led by Pastor Tim Jennings and will meet at 10:45 a.m. Sundays in the Family Life Center Multi-Purpose Room.
