Indian Rocks is a C4 Church
C4 is the DNA of our church. C4 is who we are and where we are headed as a church family.
C1 Connecting to God – Weekend Worship Services are designed to connect you to God through biblical teaching and engaging worship set in a friendly atmosphere.
C2 Connecting to Others – God designed us to do life together. Connection Groups build authentic friendships with other believers. The small groups create opportunities for spiritual growth and provide an umbrella of care for our church family.
C3 Connecting to Ministry – God gifted each of us with spiritual gifts and talents with the intent of us using them to serve in the church family. You have the privilege of using your gifts to impact the lives of others. Connecting to ministry is a vital part of your own spiritual growth. Church Ministry Teams provide you with opportunities to serve alongside others.
C4 Connecting to the World – God instructs His followers to connect to the world. Based upon Acts 1:8, we believe God desires our church body to share His love with others both locally and abroad. One of the ways that our people can learn about missions is through the Connection Groups where information is shared concerning our Faith Promise Missionaries and various outreach opportunities.
How Do I Get Involved?
We suggest you start by spending some time with Pastor Jeff and his wife, Martha, at The Dinner With The Pastor.
Dinner with the Pastor
Each month on a Tuesday evening Pastor Jeff invites all of our recent guests to meet him and some of the staff at 6:30 p.m. for a very casual dinner here at the church. The dinner is complimentary for your family. Childcare is provided at no charge. Pastor Jeff will share his story to help you get to know him better. This special night will give you the opportunity in a small setting to get to know the staff better. We also provide an optional tour of the campus at 6:00 p.m. All you have to do is simply call the Church Office at (727) 595-3421 and let us know you are planning to attend.
Starting Point
It is at Starting Point you have the opportunity to learn more about the church than you could in a year of only attending the services. Our pastors will share with you what we believe, where we are headed and, if you choose, how you can team up with us by becoming a member of the Indian Rocks family. This is also the class we ask you to attend before you follow Christ in believer’s baptism. This is a one time class offered monthly from 9:00 a.m.-Noon that includes an incredible free hot breakfast.
Main Street
We offer a Mini-Connection Group called Main Street. It is at Main Street that we begin “doing life together” in a small group setting. This three-week fellowship is set up to help new folks get into the main stream of church life. At Main Street, we will discover how God designed us to be connected to others, learn about our spiritual gifts and find a “Connection Group” that fits you. Main Street meets at 10:45 a.m. on Sundays in the Family Life Center Multi-Purpose Room. Please call the Church Office at (727) 595-3421 to register.
